I found the hotel to be a mixed bag. The rooms were spacious and attractive, but housekeeping was inconsistent. The service was friendly and accommodating, making up for some of the shortcomings. The location was decent but not exactly what I had hoped for, while the dining experience left something to be desired. Overall, it was an average stay with room for improvement.
Rooms

The room was spacious and attractive, cleaner than I have ever seen, but unfortunately, it wasn't cleaned during my 4-day stay and I had to call multiple times for towels.

The hotel is just outside of downtown, close to Vanderbilt Medical, and a 10-minute drive from Bridgestone Arena. It's convenient but didn't fully meet my expectations in terms of proximity to the center.
Dining

The dining experience was mixed. While the food quality was decent, it didn't exceed expectations. Staff like Breck Mattern in the restaurant stood out for their service.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The rooms were very clean, and the staff was GREAT. The included breakfast was a nice touch. It was quieter than expected, which was a plus. However, we faced an issue with our food freezing in the fridge. The toilet in our room was loose, which made it uncomfortable to use. The coffee machine also leaked, and there were pictures missing off the wall. An old chair in the room looked out of place with the dark furniture, giving the room an outdated appearance. Despite these, the room had a good range of amenities for its size and price.

The location was good, but I was hoping it would be closer to downtown. However, it was within walking distance of the bars and restaurants like Tootsie's and Kid Rock's, which was convenient.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and cool, and I appreciated the free parking. The reception staff and shuttle drivers were very helpful. However, the absence of WiFi was a downside considering the high price of $400 per night for such a small room.
Rooms

The room I stayed in was nice and clean, with fluffy towels. The reception staff and shuttle drivers were very helpful.
Service

The service at the hotel was kind and friendly. I found the staff to be helpful and always ready to assist. There was also enough free parking space available.

The hotel is located in an area undergoing a lot of change with many bars and restaurants nearby. It was great for attending a Vanderbilt graduation ceremony and is very convenient, being just around the corner from mid-town bars and restaurants.
Dining

The dining experience was satisfactory, living up to the typical standards of Hampton Inns. The food quality was decent, although the use of disposable plates and plastic cutlery was a minor drawback.

The hotel offered basic facilities that served my needs during my stay. The free parking was definitely a bonus.
